Youth Cheerleading
Open to all West Springfield residents (girls and boys), or those registered in either public or private school in West Springfield, ages 8 through 14 as of September 1. Cheerleading squads consist of Pee Wees (8-9 years old), Juniors (10-11 years old), and Seniors (12-14 years old). Participants who are 14 years old may participate as long as they are in the 8th grade in September. Clinics will be held April 12,13, & 14 at 6:00p.m.till 7:30pm at WS High School. Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning in late June. Cheer season follows the West Springfield Suburban Youth Football schedule (games typically begin in September). Deadline to Register is May 13th. We encourage at least one parent whose child is interested in cheering to
attend April 12th clinic with their child, even if your child has done cheerleading before.
Registration Fee: $50.00R ~ $55NR (W.S. public/private school)
