HOOP MANIA
Basketball camp for boys & girls 6-14 years old held at the West Springfield High School gym.  Camp is held daily 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a free shoot around or free swim each day from 2:00-3:00 p.m. The director of Hoop Mania is Belinda McDonnell, a former Springfield College standout athlete, certified athletic trainer and a teacher at West Springfield High School.  Offensive and defensive skills stressed.  A LOT OF FUN!  Everyone gets a camp T-shirt.  3 on 3 tournament!  Team Concept is emphasized.  Camp motto: To teach the fundamental and technical approach to being “The most complete basketball player sible”.
FEE: $110 residents - $120 non-residents

KICKS & DRIBBLES
Kicks & Dribbles, soccer camp is for boys & girls 6-15 years old at the West Springfield High School.  Camp is held daily 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with free swim each day 2:30-3:00 p.m. All staff has been carefully selected and trained, which include other  college coaches and players.  The camp structure allows for just the right mix of learning, through hard work and fun, to accomplish our ultimate goal of valued, cherished, memorable camp experience.  Each child receives a camp t-shirt.

FUNdamentals for Success
Football Clinic
Fundamentals for Success Football Camp (non-contact) is for children in grades 3 through 12.  Camp will be held the week of July 6 - July 9, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at West Springfield High School. The director is Head Football Coach and Physical Education Teacher Chad LaBonte who is entering his 5th year at West Springfield High School. Coach LaBonte has over 12 years of coaching experience at both the high school and college levels. Participants will be instructed by an excellent group of assistant coaches that specialize in coaching individual player positions on both offense and defense. The coaching staff enjoys sharing their knowledge and experience of the game with others to help make them become better football players. If you have success you will have fun! This camp will benefit both returning and new players. It is designed to focus on the mental and physical aspects of using proper football techniques without the use of equipment. Athletes will be able to develop their skills before they enter the season and start full contact practice. Each athlete will receive individual position instruction on both offense and defense.  The importance of team play will also be developed by using the techniques learned in individual position drills and put to use in offensive and defensive team periods. Special team skills and techniques will also be covered.  This camp will be beneficial to players by giving them a head start on the season and have fun doing so.  The athletes will see instant results!

COVERING ALL BASES
Covering All Bases baseball camp is  held daily 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at W.S. Middle School baseball fields for children 8-12 years old. Program includes individual and small group instruction in fielding, throwing, hitting, pitching, base running, physical conditioning and game strategy.
Each child receives a camp t-shirt.

Extra Innings Softball
Extra Innings softball camp is for girls, ages 6-15,  is held daily 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the West Springfield Middle School softball fields. The director of Extra Innings is Christina Bousquet, a former College standout athlete, Softball Coach and a former teacher at West Springfield High School.The Extra Innings Softball Camp is geared toward players of all skill levels, be they beginners or advanced.  Our primary goal is for young girls to have fun and express their competitive spirit while also learning the game of softball  and honing or developing their softball skills.  Each child receives a camp t-shirt.

Field Hockey Summer Daze
Field Hockey Summer Daze clinic is designed for children in 8th through12th grade.  The clinic will be an opportunity for the athletes to engage in organized sessions which will cover a variety of individual skills and game situations.   As well as the skill aspect, there will also be a conditioning componet.  This will include a wide range of cardiovascular and strengthening exercise to either get you started or to boost your summer work-out. The clinic is a perfect opportunity for all new players to learn the basics, as well as any returning High School players to get a review, plus pick up some new tips before their Fall Try-Outs.  The Field Hockey clinic is directed by Megan Feeley, West Springfiled High Schol’s own JV field hockey coach. Equipment Needed: Stick, cleats, mouth-guard, goggles and water bottle.
