The oldest known brick salt-box style home in the United States. Owned by four generations of the Josiah Day family until sold to the Ramapogue Historical Society in 1903. All furnishings and artifacts are appropriate to the time period (pre-1902), including many original Day family items.
The Josiah Day House is registered with the Massachusetts Historic Commission as a National Historic site and is open to the public for guided tours. Support for the maintenance and preservation of the Josiah Day House is provided through grant funding and donations, which are gladly accepted.
